PH Merotai Candidate Datuk Ruji Ubi Launches Manifesto Rooted in People’s Voices

MEROTAI, SABAH,  MALAYSIA November 22,  2025 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Merotai State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seat, Datuk Ruji Ubi, today launched his election manifesto that focuses on practical solutions to long-standing basic issues faced by local residents.

In a press conference held in Merotai this morning, Datuk Ruji – who is also the former Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs – stated that the manifesto was born directly from the voices and complaints of the people, not merely ideas formulated behind a desk.

“Issues such as frequent electricity disruptions, complicated documentation processes, inadequate village road access, ongoing daily water supply problems, and the long-delayed gazetting of land – these are the daily realities of Merotai residents that must be given immediate priority,” he stressed.

He emphasised that the manifesto is built on the principle of “promises that can be delivered”, not empty promises just to sound appealing.

“Every proposal is a realistic, responsible step with a clear direction to improve the lives of Merotai residents in stages,” added Datuk Ruji.

To make it easier for everyone to understand each proposal clearly, the full manifesto will be released soon in the form of an infographic.

Datuk Ruji also expressed his gratitude to media representatives, Merotai residents, and his campaign team who have stood by him from the very beginning.

“Let us continue this effort for a better Merotai,” he said in concluding the press conference.
