CYBERJAYA, MALAYSIA November 22, 2025 – The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is pleased to announce that its Selangor State Office (SSO) has received the Special Recognition Award for Government & Technical Agencies in Selangor during the Selangor Investors Appreciation Award ceremony held on 20 November 2025.
The award was presented by Datuk Dr. Haniff bin Zainal Abidin, Selangor State Financial Officer, and received on behalf of MCMC by Tuan Haji Bukhari Yahya, Head of State Affairs, MCMC.
This recognition reflects MCMC’s ongoing commitment through its Selangor State Office in supporting the development of communications infrastructure, enhancing technical readiness, and strengthening the investment ecosystem in Selangor through strategic collaboration with the Selangor State Government, other technical agencies, and industry partners.
The ceremony was also attended by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor, along with investors and industry representatives.
MCMC extends its highest appreciation to all SSO staff and MCMC personnel for their solid teamwork that contributed to this success. MCMC remains committed to further empowering the development of communications infrastructure, improving connectivity, and supporting the investment agenda of both the state and the nation.
