MEROTAI, SABAH, MALAYSIA November 24, 2025 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Merotai State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seat, Datuk Ruji Ubi, affirmed his commitment to bring changes that can be felt by the people, including more organized development and progress that opens new opportunities for future generations.
In his social media post today, Datuk Ruji – who is also the former Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs – stated that every meeting with the community further strengthens his conviction that the residents of Merotai want real change.
“Merotai cannot continue to be stuck in the old ways. With the mandate from the people, this is the area I will drive with more structured planning and progress that brings new life to all residents,” he said.
He also conveyed a message to the local residents: “PH wins, PHRS also wins”, while emphasizing that their struggle is one – ensuring Merotai develops in a balanced, advanced manner and open to broader opportunities.
Datuk Ruji expressed his gratitude to Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah and all who attended and shared their views, stating that their voices strengthen his resolve to work further and more seriously.
“Together, let us build Merotai into an area that truly grows with its people,” he added.
