KOTA KINABALU, 22 November 2025 – The Pakatan Harapan (PH) political talk for the Kapayan state seat at Funky Farm last night was held in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, with a large crowd of supporters filled with spirit and hope for the future of the area.
PH candidate for the Kapayan state seat, Jannie Lasimbang, in her thank-you message on social media this morning described the atmosphere of the talk as “the best – full of spirit and full of hope for Kapayan”.
She stressed that the main focus of her campaign remains on three key pillars: good governance, transparency, and leadership that truly works for the people.
“In last night’s talk, the focus remained the same – good governance, transparency, and leadership that works for the people,” Jannie wrote in her post.
Also present to enliven the event were two prominent PH women leaders: Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Hannah Yeoh, and Kasthuri Patto. Jannie gave special recognition to both for their “solid support”.
“Big shoutout to two amazing women leaders, Minister of Youth and Sports Hannah Yeoh and Kasthuri, for their solid support,” she added.
The talk, which ran until late at night, was seen as a major boost to the PH machinery in Kapayan as the Sabah state election draws nearer. Supporters who attended expressed high confidence in the manifesto and leadership offered by Jannie Lasimbang and Pakatan Harapan.
